Classwork for 12/9
The Roman Republic collapsed because of a lot of reasons. One of the reasons Rome's Republic failed was the use of violence by the Roman elite. A lot of violence was happening like the murder of Tiberius and Gaius. Another reason was that Roman Generals like Caesar, Marius and Sulla. The Republic stateman were being bribed. The Italians were landless because of wars. One Republic Stateman was a monarch and later became the first roman Emperor.

Civil War: It is conflict between groups within the same country, followed their deaths.
Julius Caesar: Emerged to bring order to Rome.
Triumvirate: It is a group of three rulers.
Absolute Ruler: It is some one who has total power.

Gladiator: It is professional fighters who fought to the death in public contests for entertainment.

- Agriculture was very important in the empire.
- Rome had made trade between each parts of the Empire.
3. The role that Julius Caesar played in the decline of the republic and the rise of the empire is that he emerged to bring order to Rome and dominated Rome as a triumvirate.

1. They were both raised away from there uncle because there mother but them in a basket into the Tiber river and then raised by a she wolf.
2. They were the founders of there land and they also built it.
3. Romulus became the only ruler because he killed his brother after a fight with him.
4. It took place in 753 B.C. in the myth.
5. It took place in 1000 B.C. said by archaeologists.
6. It came from a tribe in Rome called Latins, they were from the Plains of Latium.
7. The name of the river that Rome was found near was The Tiber river.
8. The difference between Historical facts and Creation myths is that Historical facts is something that is backed up by facts, Creation myths is something not really baked up by facts.
9. Creation myths is more interesting because it is a little exaggerating from the truth and told to amuse.
10. Our creation myth is the story of Adam and Eve.

This video is about the Persian that were in a war against the Greek ,to be more specific the Athenians from Athens which is a city-state from Greece, the war was called The Persian War. In the video, it was being told by a boy that looks like a college student and he was accurate when talking about The Persian War and how The Athenians won the war against the Persians. He said that Greece was mostly mountains that divided it so that made it harder to have interaction between the cities So then they were now Polans which are City-states. He said that the Athenians build this new weapon which was a boat with armor to crash into the Persian boats. These boats were very important , because it helped the Athenians defeat the Persians. The boats were very light weight and fast and that gave the Athenians there advantage.

HW#8 Hammurabi's Law
1. The first civilization on Earth to have a written legal code was Babylon.
2. Hammurabi Ordeal is a old painful test of guilt and innocence that the Babylonians used on people that are guilty of something to prove or to show that they are guilty. They would get an extremely hot metal spoon and make the person or people lick the spoon and the Mobashi would test the tongues if they would be guilty or not. The Ordeal is still used in some tribes today.
3. The Famous book that the Hammurabi's laws help create was the Bible.
4. Hammurabi only wrote down the laws down.

This article is about a holy site in India that had been divided into two parts Hindus and Muslims. A major verdict in India dicided to split the Holy sites into two parts. In 1992 the Hindus had distroyed of a Mosque and that led into riot that had cause more than 2,000 deaths. It was one of the worst religious violence. I choosed this article, because anything that involves riots interest me more then most topics. The article is connected to what we studied in class, because it took place in India and we studied somethings about India like there early Civilizations.
