The Roman Republic collapsed because of a lot of reasons. One of the reasons Rome's Republic failed was the use of violence by the Roman elite. A lot of violence was happening like the murder of Tiberius and Gaius. Another reason was that Roman Generals like Caesar, Marius and Sulla. The Republic stateman were being bribed. The Italians were landless because of wars. One Republic Stateman was a monarch and later became the first roman Emperor.
