HW#7
1)
Fertile Crescent: The region's curved shape and the richness of its land.
Silt: As the flood leaves, it left a thick bed of mud.
Irrigation: To dig ditches that carried river water to there fields that allowed a surplus of crops.
City-State: When each city and surrounding land is controlled.
Dynasty: A series of rulers from a single family.
Cultural Diffusion: When a new idea or product is spread from one culture to another.
Polytheism: To belief in many gods.
Empire: Brings together several people, nations, and states are under the control of one ruler.
Hammurabi: When the Babylonian Empire reached its peak during the region of Hammurabi.

Challenge 1: There was no transportaion and the solution was to create the wheel and the sail.
Challenge 2: There were floods so they built an irrigation so the river water can go to crops and they would be watered.
Challenge 3: There was no way to communicate so the solution was to create a written alphabet.

3)
The advantages for living in cities offer the people of acient mesopotamia were that thay had all they needed to live and survive. Almost all of the modern cities today have all they need to live and survive.

Map Question 1: The Euphrates river and the Tigris river valley is found on Mestopotamia.
Map Question 2: The Pysical Characteristics of the valley is that it runs through Mesopotamia and it connects to the Persian Gulf.

Video 1: The Sumerians develop written language, because they needed to keep record of what happened each year.
Video 2:
1) Widged shaped is the type of writing that is Cuneiform.
2) They way they wrote was on plates of clay thet made the clay in to plates like pancakes and wrote with a stylus, then after done writing they let the clay dry in the sun.
3) They drew on plates of clay and on walls.
